Who We Are

The purpose of the Africa Japan Business Women Alumni Network (AJBWAN), is the following:

  • 1. Jabawan efforts taken to combat climate change and its impacts. These efforts involve reducing greenhouse gas emissions (climate mitigation) and/or taking action to prepare for and adjust to both the current effects of climate change and the predicted impacts in the future (climate adaptation) through climate smart agriculture regenerative practices and planting native plants to their environment where they strive .
  • 2. Connect all past and future Africa Japan Business Women Exchange Alumni Programme Sharing the business knowledge and technical experience and trade between these categories of women
  • 3. Match businesswomen amongst AJBWA to create sustainable markets and new markets for these categories of women
  • 4. Share new information and knowledge from future programme participants to increase the knowledge base and share new developments and trends on the programme
